Current Campaign: FEODRIS
A Peaceful Realm…
Nearly one hundred cycles ago, a terrible evil nearly eradicated all life on Feodris. In the final moments of the world, the Four Pillar Kingdoms set aside centuries of strife and united a brave band of heroes to make a last, desperate stand. Their courage and heart triumphed, and ushered in the era of The Pillars of Peace. Since that time, not a single war has ravaged the land, and the Tower Kingdom has survived, repopulated, and prospered.
A Cautious Optimism…
With the centennial celebration approaching, peace survives, but its future feels uncertain. Old rivalries, long simmering, threaten to boil over. New conflicts challenge aging leaders. Under-represented groups rally support to grow in power and demand seats at the table. And whispers of the evil that brought the Tower Kingdom together, long passed around in the darkest tavern corners, intensify and evidence of something dark creeping into the corners of the land begins to mount.
An Enticing Opportunity…
Townsfolk cower in their homes after dark, and few dare the roads without armed escorts. For courageous young entrepreneurs, there is work to be had if you’re handy with a bow or a wand. Some might balk at the lack of supply to meet the demand for capable mercenaries, but not you. You don’t care why the Pillarguard are so sparse these days, there’s money to be made, so find someone to watch your back and let’s get rich!
Beeroy Jenkins
Swarmkeeper Ranger
The lone survivor of a raid that massacred his village, Beeroy sought justice from the Tower Kingdom and was rebuffed. With his magical beehive backpack and good friend Quincy, he’s hiding from government officials and looking for his uncle, the betrayer of his hometown.
Bold Rain
Battle Master Fighter/Monk
Once a member of the Pillarguard, Bold became disenfranchised by the injustice and hate directed against other non-Tower races. Forced to fake his own death to escape his duty, he fled with Brom to a remote island to pursue a simpler life where, perhaps, he wouldn’t have to spend every moment checking over his shoulder.
Bromduhr Mountainbane
Circle of the Mountain Druid
A respected wilderness guide and brewer in his home city of Mag Gelduun, Brom was falsely accused of foul play perpetrated against his closest friend. Forced to flee, Brom wandered from town to town until he received a cryptic message directing him to a small island city where he found an old friend had set him up with a new job running a local watering hole.
Olivia Vahlen
Fey Wanderer Ranger/Undead Patron Warlock
Strangely poised for an eleven year-old girl, Olivia is a survivor first and foremost. Together with her strange, towering companion, she is a unique addition to the staff at The Stewed Prune. But no one can deny she has a way of bending people to her will and can certainly handle herself in dangerous situations. She seeks clues as to the whereabouts of her family, the trail of clues having nearly run cold in a remote port city.
Quincy Stones
Lunar Sorcerer
A tortle from a small desert community, Quincy was educated and raised in a temple dedicated to the blue moon, Tsenkher. When his mentor implored him to venture into the world, Quincy met a despondent young harengon named Beeroy and the two stumbled through several misadventures before being forced to flee Nightsand Tower. Fond of relating dubious tales of derring-do and history lessons, Quincy is seeking a greater understanding of how best to use his powers.
Rivulet Mighty Stream
Genie Patron Warlock/Circle of the Shepherd Druid
Tall and mysterious, Riv and his young ward Olivia seek information about individuals they both lost in the vastness of Feodris. Little was known about the genial and multifaceted Riv, but there are hints as to an unusual nature and perhaps he is far older than he appears to be.
Urne Stygyr
Battle Smith Artificer
A dragonkin obsessed with uniting the world through friendship, Urne was once known as a master blacksmith. But he couldn’t escape the idea of infusing his creations with a magical spark. He poured himself into his endeavor which resulted in an incredible, sentient automaton named Goat; but it also resulted in Urne’s disgrace as his focus kept him from aiding his village when it was attacked. Exiled, Urne followed opportunity until he arrived in a remote island town where a job offer waited…

During an investigation into cult activity, they uncovered a sinister plot to seize power in Baldur’s Gate, a plot that had already claimed an entire city. Caught up in a tide of machinations set into motion by the front line general in the Blood War raging across the first of Hell’s nine levels, the strangers descended down where living mortals dread to save a man, a city, and perhaps even a fallen angel.
Now trapped in Avernus with no way home and time running short, the unlikely band of brothers must navigate the dangers of a madness-inducing landscape filled with fiendish foes and scheming devils. Can they save the sinking city and redeem a celestial being, or will they succumb to their own temptations and lose themselves along with scores of innocent lives?

The Players
Who We Are
We’re a group of lifelong gamers and friends mostly based in California who decided to try Yet Another Ill-Fated RPG Campaign (YAIFRPGC)… one month before COVID-19 lockdown started. That campaign, based off the published Baldur’s Gate: Descent Into Avernus book, ran for a full three years before wrapping up in early 2023. We took a well-deserved break for a few months before kicking off a new campaign set in the completely homebrewed world of Feodris, which has been running for over a year. We play monthly via Foundry VTT and Discord using Dungeons & Dragons Fifth Edition rules.
